The bathroom sharing situation could really be smoother!!! Subpar lighting in rooms left me fumbling with a headtorch!!! The strict signage about rules felt overly controlling!!!

We appreciated the hotel, it was lovely and had particularly good location not far from z very nice restaurant, and Ipswich. The vibe here was wonderful! Furthermore, free parking was on-site. No reason to complain, the venue met expectations.

Chimneys B&B was such a chill spot! Loved the quiet country feel, perfect for unwinding after exploring Ipswich. Carolyn was super accommodating, though I wasn’t a fan of the strict house policies. Breakfast was tasty but note there's a little extra for options.

Quiet Stay with a Friendly Host

The host was cute, and I appreciated the prompt communication throughout my stay. The on-site parking was a great bonus. I would have preferred a more comfortable bed for a better night's sleep.

The shared bathroom setup may be a concern if privacy is prioritized. The numerous signage demanding adherence to house rules detracted from the overall relaxed vibe of the place.

The location has so many wonderful walks right from the doorstep. We enjoyed Alton Water Sports nearby. The picnic area was perfect for our lunch breaks, and bike rentals made exploring easy. Recommended for group trips!

One of my friends found the Wi-Fi connection a bit weak in certain areas, tricky to stay connected.

My recent stay at Chimneys B & B was exactly what I was looking for - a lovely family house with a homely feel. The hosts, Carolyn and her partner, were friendly and accommodating, allowing me to check in early for my event. The garden seating was a good spot for breakfast. The location, nestled in the quiet countryside, was perfect for a peaceful getaway just a few miles away from civilization. I would highly recommend this quiet country retreat.

Drawbacks: Although I was relieved to have the bathroom to myself , the possibility of sharing one with other guests would have been a concern for me. the lighting in my room was inadequate, forcing me to resort to using my headtorch for reading in bed.
